Tinashe is a trainer, consultant, and advocate of racial and social justice. With a background in both the higher education and not-for-profit sectors, she specialises in diversity, equity and inclusion strategy and implementation.
In addition to her role at the Diversity Trust, Tinashe plays several roles at the University of Exeter including:
- Inclusive Education Project Co-ordinator
- Social Justice Trainer
- Trustee
Previous positions held and initiatives launched include being the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager at the College of Social Sciences and International Studies, as well as the Co-founder and Chair of the Black and Minority Ethnic Network for Staff, Students and Allies.
Tinashe has previously undertaken research into decolonising the curriculum. Her areas of expertise include Culture, Privilege and Allyship, Inclusive leadership, Creating a sense of Belonging, Unconscious bias, Inclusive Education and Decolonisation.
