For the Diversity Trust, Annie is our Partnerships Associate and former Deputy Chief Executive
As the former Deputy CEO of The Diversity Trust, which included being the Corporate Partnerships Lead, Annie is now the Partnerships Associate. She has significant partnerships development expertise having previously built a number of cross sector, multi agency strategic partnerships that amplified local people’s voices and co-ordinated resources and service provision for people living in rural areas. At The Diversity Trust, Annie developed a series of equalities-led bespoke partnerships. These recognised the aspirations of the partner business, while leveraging The Diversity Trust’s added value of direct impact and enhanced credibility with the relevant communities linked to the equalities strands that they wished to embed.
With a deep knowledge of The Diversity Trust and its work, she was also the lead for Diversity in Menopause, including a groundbreaking set of white papers on this topic. From 2018 to 2025, she co-led The Diversity Trust’s Equalities Podcast.
A qualified youth and community development worker, Annie has over three decades’ experience in the impact space, at grassroots and the strategic level. She’s a great believer in leveraging participatory approaches to super charge positive impact, as well as centring lived experience. As founder of her own consultancy, she and her team support individuals and organisations on their impact journey.
With other hats on, she’s a trainer and facilitator with a particular passion for up-skilling the next generation of youth workers. She is a proud member of the LGBT+ community and advocates on their behalf whenever the opportunity arises. She serves as a Trustee on two charity Boards.
