Ilaria Boncori is an Associate Consultant for The Diversity Trust, specialising on the topic of Early Pregnancy Endings in the workplace.  

Ilaria is business management scholar with over two decades of academic and professional expertise in various aspects related to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. She is a Professor in Organization Studies and Human Resources Management at the University of Essex, Essex Business School. Over the past decade, she has also served in various leadership and dean roles at the departmental, faculty and university-wide levels. She has led on externally funded projects related to gender, sexuality, race and ethnicity inclusion.  

Ilaria has extensive experience of training professional, as well as teaching international and UK students, at all levels. She is passionate about mentoring and coaching. 

Her academic research focuses on the experience of people in organisations, and how organisations themselves can foster more equitable and enabling environments. Ilaria has published widely, with books, book chapters and articles in top international publishers. She also has extensive experience as editor across various international journals.
