We would like to invite you to the launch event of the Care Under the Rainbow project. Join us for the presentation of our films and other resources and a panel discussion on making care homes more inclusive.

Brief overview of the project:

This event will launch findings and films from our project ‘Creating inclusive care home environments for older LGBT+ people: an online learning resource’. This project seeks to produce a research-informed online learning resource for care and nursing home staff and managers in England and Wales that communicates messages for informing practice from recent and current research on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT+) inclusion. This new resource includes short digital films for raising staff awareness, top tips for making care homes more inclusive, and case studies for use in staff training and development. This resource is free and will be available to the public after the launch event. This project is a collaboration between the University of Bristol and the Diversity Trust.
